My nephew has just messaged me on FB that it's snowing in Shepton Mallet at this moment, not too far away from here, we've just had a heavy rain shower so not quite cold enough here yet, temp has dropped from 6.3C AT 14.00 to 2.2C now, so cooling down steadily
Wet snow in Minehead. Now that is rare in a westerly. Probably will be a fair bit up on the top of North Hill at the back of us.
Nick
latest shower in Evesham started as a potent mix of icy sleet, leaving a sheen of ice on the grass, though turned to mostly rain later. Bodes well for any further showers tonight though.

Snowing here, ground white but that was from the hail mixed in. Temperatures fallen to 2.7c, dp -1c.

We had wintry showers overnight here which left a slushy/icy covering all day, odd flurry today but most of the snow seems to be to the north of here, thought we might of been right in the firing line here.
Heavy hail showers on the Wirral currently - wasn't expecting any showers at all in the rain shadow so it'll do for now!
Sleet here in a recent heavy shower. Doesn't feel that cold though. Ground is saturated, so not expecting anything of note

Plenty more coming in from the west in colder air.
Certainly plenty of showers. BBC Radio Bristol forecaxt playing down any accumulations away from high ground. Even there she only said a cm or so
Bit of sleety stuff here, temp steady at 2.3C.
Edit, my nephew's rubbing it in a bit now, he's sent a picture showing snow settling in Shepton Mallet.
Strange that they would go against their own warnings so dramatically. The text on the website says 3-6cm on higher ground, with 10cm above 300 metres (not that there is much ground over 300 metres in your area!)
There's actually a surprising amount. Birdlip is about 20 mins from here and is around 500m from memory.
Birdlip is less than 300m. More like 260m. The Cotswolds just top 300m at places like Bredon hill but that's it.
