Medlock Vale Weather
17 January 2015 09:17:01

Temp & dew point are slowly becoming more marginal here, and I can hear drip drip drip as what is left of the snow is slowly melting as the sun has come out too. Really cannot see any snow settling now today if the temp keeps climbing.

Whilst not constant snow the BBC weather website had me down for hours of heavy snow showers from 5am, only a had a light snow shower an hour ago

Norfolk looks like it's taking a hammering from snow at the moment on the radar and northern England should be seeing a fair few showers too.

Light snow pepping up here again in North Herts - slightest of dusting on road and cars  But at least we have seen some of the white stuff

Just had a brief but heavy snow shower. Stopped now but first flakes in 22 months!

Unfortunately all it's done is remove the frost from everywhere so it is less white than it was before!

Light snow covering all surfaces. Nice to begin the cold spell with a snowfall even though it is light

Yep, proper 50p jobs. Decent covering here now. It must be borderline. I wonder if it'll turn back to rain as the temps rise a degree or so
