Another wave of mid level cloud has moved over but the temperature continues to climb. Currently 32.5c now / dewpoint 16.3c. This has surpassed my local expectation of 32.3c and it isn't even noon.
Fully overcast in London now.

That a pity when we have something to break a record the clouds would just come in to ruin it and does the same during freezing spells when it get over cast to keep the temps above 0C day and nights.
Don't know why it came in on a hottest upper times so something not right and now looking forward to see if Saturday do better job with another chance of 20C uppers arriving here again.

I will plump for Ely maxing out at 36.8 c. We shall see.
I'm sitting in my garden and the wind is almost too strong for the parasol. VP2 currently showing 32.2C.
Plenty of stations recording 33c now. Shame about that cloud though.

30C here at 11:55am but now cloud is encroaching ffs. Cloud should be banned from British skies.
