Seems quite open this year - between the obvious 4, that is. Hard to call it between them, but if I had to put my house on one of them, it'd have to be Chelsea. Man. U. have strengthened with Schneiderlin being an excellent acquisition but I still can't quite see them doing it. I'm not sure that Man.C have dealt with their weaknesses yet, and if I had to pick one to finish fourth, they'd be the one. I reckon Arsenal could finally be in the running for the title this year, especially if they managed to improve their forward line with someone such as Benzema.

There - having made a prediction,  I'm now certain to look a fool next May.

I think Liverpool knew that Torres' last injury had deprived him of that burst of pace and knew they were getting a stupidly good deal from Chavski. But I don't think they knew just how much of his game it had cost Torres.
