I never thought the officiating could be worse than it was in the first half. I was wrong.

When I see games like this and the low standard of officiating on display I actually wonder whether it's worth watching football at all.

Streaky & ill-deserved win for us but 2 wins from 2 not to be sniffed at. Bournemouth very unlucky, great team to watch, hope they stay up this season & have some great results.

Suffice to say, we'll get our back sides slapped if we play like the first two games against Arsenal next Monday. Pleased with the two full backs, and I genuinely thought Benteke had a very good game, he surprised me with some very neat first touches throughout.

I see Chavski have gazumped Man U for Pedro

The talk in the office this morning from Manc fans (who are generally ITK on these things) was that they'd done the deal for Pedro, and he was flying over today to wrap it up.

Did Maureen meet him off the plane & bundle him into a waiting limo or something??

Anyway, I'm confused. Pedro is leaving Barca because of a lack of 1st team opportunity. And then signs for the Chavs?

Mane scored the fastest hattrick in Premier League history last season. He reminds me of Nani in his prime a bit, potentially devastating, often frustrating. Lightning quick and unpredictable.

I only want to beat Man United on the pitch, I don't want to go in that direction. Our job is not to get a player another club wants

Woolwich an absolute shambles at the back. Coq Au Vin keeping them in the game.

Marty Feldman largely anonymous further up field.

Wish Cech would have saved one of his week one gaffs for tonight.

We're hanging on here, I fear a late arsenal goal, which would be so cruel

Excellent performance from the Dippers, despite hanging on at times in the second half.

The Coutinho-Benteke partnership is going to end up being a fearsome one.

Phew. Fair result over the two halves.

Looks like Lamela is off (to Inter), so that will mean five of the seven bought with the 'Bale money' will now have been moved on.
