I must admit, while it does make a nice change not to get wind blasted and soaked wet, that nagging nor'easter is taking the edge off it at this end. Still, I hadn't done too badly in terms of sunshine amounts, it's only this afternoon that it has gone all "greyscale".
However, since it is only March, I am being a bit forgiving about this at the moment, I may be somewhat less so if it stays this chilly in May - like it did in 2013 (but then again, the SST was unusually low at that time with a persistent cold pool at the Strait of Dover, this time it's slightly above normal as far as I know).
On an unrelated note; perhaps I may be setting myself up for a downfall in here as I like to think that I do get on well with everyone in here, but I cannot hold it back any longer . . . Lazy Wind, your postings has been getting a bit tiresome to read lately. Even has the effect of making Richardabdn seem more affable in nature. Perhaps you may want to take on a less stressful hobby, like flower pressing or railway modelling?
