Snow in central London right now! I am on the 9th floor but it looks like it is reaching ground level too.

I'm not seeing things...

It is SNOWING on our market stall . April 26. Yes, SNOWING. April 26, did we mention that? SNOWING...

I was going to do the thing where I list all the official snow reports like last time; but I'd be here for hours. Probably quicker to list the stations that haven't recorded snow.

Shower of soft hail then snow here again. Heavy enough for a temporary dusting in Morningside. The Pentlands have a dusting too. Max of 6 here today but down to 1 or 2 in the showers.....feeling bitter in the wind

Frequent short-lived showers of rain, hail, sleet and snow, we've had just about every type of precipitation known to man today, with a rumble or two of thunder thrown in for good measure.

Currently 6.8°c

We just had a brief snow shower here in south Berkshire! It had obviously partially melted on the way down but was too dry to be sleet and too soft to be graupel.

Nevertheless, this is the latest in the winter season I have ever seen snow fall in my life, I think beating April 1981 (when I was in Gloucestershire) by one day.

Even got snow here in snow desert Witney. That in itself is exceptional as it doesn't seem to ever snow here.

The Folkestone Harbour Shower Deflector is being as efficient as ever so far today. About 20 minutes ago, there was heavy rain and hail at Hythe (six miles to my west), but it just merely stayed mostly dry and cloudy with a few spits of cold rain in the air here at my back yard. There wasn't even enough precipitation to tip my rain gauge.

I would class the last heavy showers as large graupel. Far too soft to be hail but as big as marbles. They bounce around but are as soft as the polystyrene balls you get in a beanbag.

We've had some quite large soft hail here today and fascinating to watch it explode as it hit the ground, there were also a few flakes of snow falling in some of the heavier showers.

Just had a blustery wintry flurry here at Folkestone, even tried to produce a slight sugar coating before it went all wet.

I wait all through the winter without seeing a single flake - then it's now near May and I get to experience the first proper wintry shower of the "season". Fail.
