After 11 consecutive dry days, 29.7mm has fallen in the last few hours from the current convective activity - in relatively high pressure
Day 1 precipitation of 1.2mm.. Dry days since :- 6 consecutive.
An exceptional 64.8mm in less than an hour and a half in West Bromwich yesterday afternoon.
Unfortunately I'm working in Bradford so missed all the fun

Total now at 86.4mm. ESTOFEX have much of England and Wales under a level 1 warning for the potential of localised very heavy convective rainfall - due to 'moist vertical profiles' . The wettest June I've seen here, so far, since 2012 - when 148mm fell. 100mm is certainly possible here this month - much depends on just where the strongest convection will initiate - we've missed the worst of it inmby over the last few days ...
