Thanks Martin.

Black as pitch to my east. Fortunately we've missed this one, although the legacy from the last one is evident with surface water everywhere.

Nothing overhead here yet but have seen some brilliant flashes over towards Gibbys patch, I've captured a few on my digital camcorder and hoping I can retrieve a couple of good stills off of it.

Can confirm it is tipping it down in Bath (more specifically at the Uni). Very dark, lots of surface water and looking at the radar lots to come. Intersted to hear its dry in Frome, so Jim, I'm presuming my veg in warminster isn't getting wet yet?!

Some good rumbles and flashes here, but sadly the bulk of the activity bypassed us and effected the likes of Castleford and Normanton instead.

Fine, dry and quite sunny here under the FWS with all the cumulus passing by to my north west (over the hills). But it is very windy, though. This is another one of those situations where my location tend to miss the ground-heat induced showery activity under this SW airstream as it all bypasses me.

Tomorrow does look a bit dreary with more in the way of persistent rain under overcast skies and the next chance saloon for thundery activity around here would be this Thursday and (more likely) on Friday as the temporary heatwave kicks in thus making it soupy and muggy for a time. A pity really as I am liking this freshness.

Thunderstorm after thunderstorm here today, we had the lights on earlier and they began to flicker with the lightning! also the rain has been so heavy it's just been running down the lane like a stream as it's situated on a bit of a hill, crazy weather!!
