This is getting me down, just nothing to study. Models look like a continuation of what weve been through the past few weeks - with the possibility of a few gales/storms.

Can any one provide a bit of historical weather porn for us all to gaze at. Maybe some really cold Ensembles, or an ensemble with really interesting scatter.

Whats the best GFS chart you have ever seen (in your life time) and why?

Of course, it is of skant interest for the UK, but it has started snowing heavily here in Copenhagen this afternoon.

But even here, it is not expected to last for more than two days, before milder weather moves back in with rain. If cold cannot persist this far east, there is no hope for the UK.

Signs of some interesting possibilities for February. Also has a quick look at the easterly ECM from this morning.

Scandinavia is the only place in Western Europe modelled to get a half decent decent cold shot right now, so enjoy it.

On the plus side as the jet slackens in mid/ late winter what starts off in Scandi has been known to nose its way down here.
