I know it doesn't always work out this way, but I'm fancying Liverpool to put a good few past hopeless Newcastle on Sunday

Tough game at the Hawthorns. 1-1 a fair result.

As for Man United, what can I say; 21 goal attempts; 1 on target.

It was apparently a decent 0-0. But it's a 0-0 all the same and I think that's the fourth 0-0 Manure fans have had to endure this season.

Another brilliant result for Leicester, but no goal for Vardy. A hattrick for Mahrez instead

Truly conflicted about today's outcome.

Part of me wants Newcastle to win because the Dippers will have crept up on us. On the other hand, I'd love to see Newcastle fall through the trapdoor as it would markedly improve Bournemouth's chances of staying up.

So, on balance, I'll go for a Dippers win on the basis that the Klopp revolution peters out in the New Year and those 'special European nights' at Dippers HQ prove as illusory as ever.

Hoping for the Geordies but just can't see it really

Newcastle really could get a hiding here. Morale there must be very low, and they're the kind of team to capitulate when things go against them. An early Liverpool goal and it could be a cricket score.

Alternatively, if they are tight and organised early on, they could nick a goal and put the pressure on 'Pool.

A couple more wins and that should mean they're safe.

Bournemouth's starting XI cost 2.55m........incredible

Yes the goal was off, but we are loooooong overdue some luck from the officials having been on the wrong end of some tough calls all season, not to mention all the injuries especially having 18 million quid's worth of cruciate ligaments in bits..

This result has been coming, we have been excellent since the start of the 2nd half against Saints, without getting the results we deserved.

A bonus win indeed, was not expecting anything out of yesterday or ManYoo next Sat.

As for Manure next week I'm not hopeful because they'll carry on boring the opposition (and fans) to death as they've done for much of this season.

In other news, Steve the Pirate has been sacked as Swansea manager 

Harsh decision IMO. I don't think they're in danger of relegation, and could it have hurt to see how results go over the Xmas period before sacking him? 

It's absolutely the correct decision - a massive club like Swansea should be challenging for the league title every season and if Monk can't also throw in a couple of Champions League trophies, then he's so not the man for the job.

Another big scalp for the ever improving cherries who have now found their premier league feet.Despite all the injuries we keep improving week on week and the result today is testimony to Eddie Howe`s refusal to change the way we play ie proper football

Great result and performance,outclassed Utd,so much for their beach training session this morning
