No Crapital Cup thread so posting in here. Well done Man City - many talking points from the final...

1) How terrible is Sterling? Can't hit a barn door

2) Good to see Cabellero save those pens after the criticism he received (some justifiably). Good loyalty from Pellegrini.

3) Yaya Toure scoring the winning pen and running off to celebrate on his own - after his team mates ran to Caballero

4) Sturridge blubbering during the losers medal presentation

Well worth the 2-1 win. Spurs absolutely laid siege to the Swansea goal.

Well what can I say. A perfect day, that rarely comes along and needs to be bottled for posterity.

Spurs win, Woolwich lose, Shit.eh get more knackered having to play extra time and the Dippers lose on penalties.

Crossing my fingers for the Dippers to beat Sh.iteh on Wednesday night.

West Ham, I reckon will be our toughest game in the run in. If (and I'm not confident) Spurs can win that one and Sh.iteh lose, the title race will be down to three teams.

Johnson found guilty on one of two counts.

I guess he won't be using his johnson for a while, unless Big Bubba demands it.

According to the Fail.

"It can be reported for the first time today that Johnson was scolded by the judge during his trial for 'discourteous behaviour' after he was seen joking with a security guard who sat next to him in the dock.

At the end of the second week of his trial, he was overheard saying to a friend: 'I hope this is finished by Friday. It's a bit boring now.'"

That's put the cat right amongst it. I expected Spurs to find tonight tough but what's that Arsenal result all about?

Are Leicester destined to win the title? After tonights results they are 3 points clear and its looking like between them or spurs despite their loss to West Ham.

As for Arsenal  every season they capitulate at this stage of the season.

The top 4 only took one point between them in the midweek games.

Sperms especially looked like they were suffering from twitching sphincters.

In terms of Liverpool, why the bloody hell did they not play like that on Sunday?

Agreed! Klopp must have given them a rocket or something similar. WHU were apparently very good and should have destroyed sperms even more...but important to get 3 points.

I had fears for this game, as I indicated in a previous post.

Saying all of that, we now probably have our toughest game out of the way insofar as the run in is concerned.

Saying that, the cruncher of a tackle (but legal & fair) that Flanagan put in on that sh*thouse Sterling early on got the crowd going good style.

Most likely is that City just weren't up for it after winning on Sunday, whilst Liverpool had a point to prove and were hungrier.

Very poor from Leicester in first half vs Watford and look second best to me for long periods - don't look like champions to me based on this performance - hope for much better in second half
