They do hold on - great win in the end

It was very unconvincing in the first half but a great strike in the second half

It's all about getting results not the performance

Two points lost. Close but no cigar.

GOAL DECISION SYSTEM This is how close Kane came to levelling on 57 minutes. Lots has happened since...! 2-2

Some youthful naivety in letting Arse back into it after going 2-1 up, but at least you got it back from 0-1 down. It was a great game to watch. One player that really impressed me was Dembele - he looked like he had all the time in the world on the ball - great dribbling and effortless control under pressure

Dembele certainly adds steel to the Tottenham midfield. Cannot be anything but disappointed with yesterday's result though after having 26 shots at goal but Arsenal didn't give up with 10 men and Spurs paid the price for not capitalising on their opportunities.

Streaky penalty gives Liverpool the win.

Now just need Tiny Penis to mastermind a result in the later game.

He would run Alderweireld a very close second insofar as Tottenham's player of the year is concerned. Never mind what the PFA and Mejuh dahlings thinks about Dele Alli who is a shoe-in for PFA Player of the year.

Sunderland AFC Statement

Club Statement

Published: 08 March, 2016
by Sunderland AFC

Club statement from Sunderland AFC.

The Board of Sunderland AFC has today accepted the resignation of Margaret Byrne.

Margaret, in her role as CEO, was responsible for the running of the club. She was also accountable for the actions taken by the club in relation to Mr. Johnson. Sunderland AFC acknowledges that Margaret's intentions have always been to act in the best interests of the club, however it has become clear through our own internal investigations that in this instance decisions have been taken by Margaret in error.

Whilst swift and decisive action was taken to terminate Mr. Johnson’s employment upon his guilty plea, decisions taken prior to this, including the decision not to suspend him for a second time pending the outcome of the trial, were wrong. In light of what has been acknowledged by Margaret as a serious error of judgment on her part, we have undertaken a full review of the club’s decision-making processes to ensure that there can be no such mistakes in the future.

Throughout this deeply regretful situation, we recognise that one devoted young fan and her family have been very badly let down, first and foremost by Mr. Johnson and his despicable actions, but also by the club they support. We are so very sorry for this.

Mr. Johnson lied to the club; he also lied to our fans and they have every right to feel aggrieved by this. Lessons have been learned and we hope that the club and its fans can move forward from this together.

Being reported that Benitez to agree a 3 year deal at Newcastle.

Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Rafa, WTF are you thinking? Would you really want to work for that nasty, reviled, corpulent cnut???

I want nothing but ill to befall Ashley - beginning with relegation this year, but will always have a soft for Benitez after his time at Liverpool.

Andros Townsend on as substitute. A chance for him to become a Spurs legend.

1 goal from a grand total of 1 shot on target. But that's all you need to do.

I thought they were poor against a poor Newcastle side.

Saying all of that, Leicester certainly have a more favourable run in compared to Spurs.

The team under real pressure for me now is Arsenal. Do they field a weakened team on Tuesday night against Barca and save themselves for Everton on Saturday.

If the results are favourable they could be as many as 9 points behind Spurs by next Sunday.

Pulis was a good manager for Palace. Shame the Chairman didn't give him the support.
