GFS 12z is not without interest again with plenty of weather going on plus the odd proper polar flow into the mix.

A surprise snow event/s it not out of the question IMO.

Monday looking vicious in the south. As I say surprised this storm hasn't been named!

in the medium term GFS has some interest with the odd colder day thrown in- it's still very unsettled, though snow could crop up anywhere north of the Midlands

The Met/o 12z looking very cyclonic but chilly in the north with snow over high ground.

Although there isn't too much to grab hold of above the background noise, it's fair to say there has been a small shift towards MLB in recent output with a few members teasing us again with a continental influence going past Day 10.

It's something of nothing at this stage but at the very least it generates some interest.

In the here and now, plenty of rain and wind and wintry potential up North this week.

All looks a bit further South to me??? Matt Taylor has just said they are unsure as to the positioning ..." that's the important bit because of snow on the Northern edge"

Strange how the BBC weather didn't pick this up? Or even suggest it? - All he said was that it could be a bit further south or north etc!!

Interesting how the Met Office and BBC never mentioned the potential colder spell on Tuesday!? - Snowy in some central parts - Less than 3 days time so not exactly FI:

ECM manages to contrive a colder FI.  If it hadn't been such a mild autumn, er, winter, then the 240 chart would have been more exciting.  As it is its a marginal sleet fest for most.

The GEFS0z gives approximately a 35% chance of snow in the south on Tuesday. Worth watching, especially over higher ground such as the Chilterns.
