Signapore looks like it is going out of control. Cases popping up with no clear link to China at all.
This is definitely worth a read:

The Chinese control measures appear not to have done much to impede the spread of the virus thus far, although there is no way of knowing how much worse the situation might be otherwise.

Hey Quants, have you got one of these yet?
no, it's Brighton and not linked to York
We keep being told that the people at risk are the elderly or those with compromised immune systems or other pre-existing health conditions.
Yet this young doctor was perfectly healthy before he contracted the virus:

The case in question was located in Brighton.
The British National apparently DID NOT contract the virus in China, but from another Asian Country.
This is a worry.
Be interesting to find out where Singapore or Thailand probably. Both appear to be struggling to contain it now.
I think we need to restrict all SE Asian flights now to prevent this becoming a problem in the UK. If we lose control we won't get it back.
Suggestions that rumours of Li Wenliangs death may be exaggerated.
Apparantely his hospital says he is very much still alive.
Regarding these stories which have been circulating online
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7971401/Have-real-coronavirus-death-figures-leaked-Chinese-conglomerate-lists-death-toll-24-589.html?ito=social-twitter_mailonline&__twitter_impression=true&__twitter_impression=true&__twitter_impression=true
I do think the chinese official figures are dodgy and very much underestimate the scale of the problem. However I do not believe these 'leaks' are anything more than misinformation/fake news being spread around. I doubt china even has the 'real' figures to report.
According to the Global Times China his heart stopped but he was resuscitated but remains in critical condition.
Yes, they are a bit backward in technology and stuff to be able to do stats. Still they can build a hospital in a week if need be. Can they come and build us 20 in twenty weeks. Bozo - get on it!

Seriously though - no way would I visit SE Asia at the moment. As for cruises - I never ever desired to go on a cruise in the first place, but current events have simply underlined my opinion on that front - trapped for days on end in a (admittedly luxury) metal, floating prison with people you may not like, whether they have any communicable diseases or not!

Crap.
The BBC are saying he has died.
