Yeah, the opi has become famous for all the wrong reasons. It might be taught at stat school one day.

Just had an email from one of the companies we deal with here in London confirming they'll all be working from home for the next 2 weeks.

I've an itch on my face. Scared to scratch it in case I give myself the Corona. Must resist.. but how it burns. Wiggling the facial muscles not working.

This is what the next three days looks like on the model (cases for each day). Again, as I get more data hopefully it can be fine tuned.

That is really not good.

We know fatality rates are highest in the elderly and infirm and it’s likely the less vulnerable have it without showing symptoms. It’s impossible to test everyone but it’s likely there are many more asymptomatic or very mild cases that simply haven’t been tested.  In which case, it isn’t as deadly as we thought and that has to be good news!

Any idea when Boris is going to speak? I just want to know if I'm going to get to my Millwall match on Saturday or not.

Yes, we don't want our kids to be infecting other countries. This should have been done at least 2 weeks ago.

This is precisely what some of us on here have been saying for weeks.  It explains why it’s spread so freely and why we’ve all been closing stable doors too late!  The virus has always been one step ahead of us, so by the time we’ve taken action, it’s already too late.  If the above is true, there is no way on earth any country could have stopped it spreading.

With all the cases in sunny Spain it would seem that the weather is not playing its part

We should have stopped all flights to and from Italy ten days ago for example.

This could have been more or less contained in China if it had been taken seriously late January - in particular the WHO should have made it clear from the start that everything possible should be done to contain it then.
Since China has apparently largely pinned it down we'd have been about through it now.
Too late though,  a health disaster unprecedented in modern times will now ensue.
