Cancelling  slots that already booked is unforgivable at the current time.  people  will be relying on them in a lot of cased when they are in isolation.  People won't forget that.   I think they will have a tough time when all this blows over when this is added to the fact they will no longer be able to distribute  Waitrose stuff !

Agree with everything you wrote. They rationed several items, but to limit the size of individual orders they could also have put a limit on the £ of the order. It's quite a poor show overall.

I have an any time smart pass which has been completely useless during this period. Been a customer for 20 years and this is unreal. Looks like they have now basically shut the site down as the only thing you can do now is cancel an order via an online form. Nothing else. They should have seen what was happening right at the beginning, but they were too busy happily taking on new customers.

All I want is a once a week delivery of an average sized shopping basket. We not panic purchased anything, but we can't even get on the site.

Same in East Kent - a friend says that Canterbury was busy yesterday and the Thanet Way was busy with people heading to the coast. People do not seem to be able observe 'guidance' for anything more than a couple of days. Tougher measures are needed, IMO, with the army being called in to man checkpoints.
