We went for a drive to Southend seafront yesterday evening. Really surprised not see any debris, not one branch or twig down on any pavement.
The wind was behind us as we drove to the seafront, but as we turned and parked side on to face the Thames (facing Darren on the other side of the water) with the wind coming from our right, the car was shaking and a hell of noise from underneath the car with the wind effect.
On our way back home along the seafront, there were two areas of sand being blown across the road (surprising as not a great deal of sand on the beaches there) which gave it that tumbleweed wilderness look.
