I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that we will see the start of an improvement in Europe at the start of April. The lockdown in Italy and other places will surely improve things as it did in China.
Rumours that we're going into full lockdown tomorrow.

In the meantime lots of kids are already being taken out of school - makes no sense

6 families in my street have taken their children out of school , informing the schools they will look again after the Easter holidays

It might be an idea to keep a couple of current newspapers. I'm trying to hope that we will shrug this off and look back on it as a crazy, difficult but short obstacle that we got over successfully.

I really think that Boris is taking the wrong approach in assuming that mass infection is inevitable. China has shown that this is not the case. I doubt that what they are doing in Italy is any less rigorous than what they did in China.

I see that, hot on the heels of little Matty Handjob putting his 'plan's behind the paywall of a Tory loyalist paper, Nadine Dorries has sold her story to another Tory Loyalist paper behind a paywall. Apparently she's got this changed now - but you still need to create an account to sign up to the Times' marketing blurb with your details.

Corruption and spivishness never changes within this horrible party.

I've developed some minor symptoms (it's because my GF is nowhere near as meticulous as I am, so don't worry too much that 'even Q got it' e.c.t.). I'm not convinced I actually have COVID as all my symptoms are intestinal but will keep you posted. No cough or fever as of yet.

My gf has developed a cough though.

Balancing act. What people have to consider is that having a wrecked economy will be far worse for the vast majority in the long term, than easing through this crisis as best we can in the short term. Even if we get massive numbers of cases like Italy, I personally would not wish for the kind of total lockdown they have undertaken. This virus will burn itself out, whether we close all businesses down or not.

New world order coming.
