Part of it is leading by example though and encouraging social responsibility. I cannot be expected to implore people to take personal precautions if I don't also sacrifice some elements of my own personal freedom.

And so it begins... one of the three of us in the office at work has a mum who has a cough, so they won't be in for 2 weeks. I know another in the office lives with *his* mum, so he'll no doubt be off soon too...

Which just leaves me - and as the school's still open, that's going to be a load of "no, we don't have the manpower to do that right now". The rest of this week's going to be pretty hellish!
