Sturridge now seemingly the victim of racial abuse - this time by a Chavski fan middle aged fook in the prawn cocktail section.

Yeah the nucleus of their team is right up there with the best.

I'm still struggling to work out whether Spurs were that good last night or if Villa were really that poor.........I suspect it was a combination of both

Personally, I'd sacrifice VDV for some away games and play Sandro alongside Parker - probably the best DM pairing in the EPL.

Will be interesting to see what happens when Huddlestone comes back from injury.

Missed opportunity by Arsenal, 2 pts dropped, not too sure why AW had to chop and change with the formation and peronnel.

Man U won't be that happy at dropping 2 pts either

Man City have the chance of putting real distance between themselves and SAF's men, can you see a squad of the calibre of City dropping so many points later in the year????? I'm not too sure

LOL! I never thought of that!

The Liverpool vs Man Citeh game was hugely entertaining. Some great tackles, and the ref allowed the physicality for the most part. Even with Suarez making a four-course meal out of every tackle!

Just watching MotD2 and one thing's abundantly clear: Michael Owen really isn't destined for a media career when he retires from the treatment table. Yaaaaawn....

Decent performance from Liverpool yesterday, btw. Rode the early storm from City then slowly got on top in the second half, even before Balotelli got the red. Should have won that - but it's a familiar story, with 5 draws at Anfield this season so far (all of which we should have won)

I'll be honest and say I expected Kenny to be one of the first managers to go this season, I expected them to really struggle, but perhaps I underestimated the momentum that he picked up from last season. They deserved the 3 points yesterday, but I also think that the Balotelli red card was soft, perhaps his reputation going before him?

Happy days indeed, with points dropped by Shiteh, Manure, the Bindippers and the Scum.

Christmas is certainly coming early this year, LOL.

Feel a little sorry for Bruce to be honest, as a Sunderland fan I never really bought into the "agent Bruce of Magcastle" stuff, decent bloke and the players are to blame.

The whole area wants O'Neil "he's a Sunderland fan you know" but I would prefer Hughes, there I said it

Martin O'Neil would be a very good apointment for Sunderland I think. Gibson had him in the the door a few years back (just after Schteeve left) but it all fell through at the 11th hour  So we ended up with Gareth Horseface  And the rest as they say is history

I don't think Hughes would be a step up, wouldn;t be any different to Bruce in the long run.

Steve Bruce has been lucky in terms of timing.

From today, lots of department stores will be looking to recruit a fat tw*t with a big, round, red face, who's used to wearing red and white.
