I didn't see the game but did Oxlady-Chamberpot go off injured?

Indeed but can't really complain too much about RVP, no doubt if he had his time again it would have put his foot through it

I agree. Some bright spark over there has done a score predictor and reckons Spurs will pip Arsenal for third by one point.

There's speculation about that Capello would like to swap with Harry Rednapp and take on the Spurs managers job

Well, the good thing is that neither Postman Pat, the Spanish waiter nor Moyes will likely be offered the job anyway. If he spoke English I'd be tempted to go for Bielsa, but as he doesn't, I won't. And I doubt Levy would go down that road again either, after the Ramos fiasco.

Looks like Persie will be for sale soon.

So how do we feel about todays fixtures

One or two interesting ones, I think

Sunderland v Liverpool, I fancy Sunderland to win

The 2 basement games of Bolton's and Wolves should also deliver some interest

Everton v Spurs

Has Spurs turned the corner after the mid week win in the cup, no, I think they will lose again.

Difficult to call those two relegation 6-pointers - anything could happen. Scrappy, hard-fought draws might be the most likely outcome.

I think Spurs could struggle at Everton as well, maybe they could scrape a draw, but I do fancy Everton to sneak it. I think Sunderland will find it tough to beat Liverpool because they have Sessegnon and Cattermole missing through suspension, and I think Fulham will turn over Villa quite comfortably.

I think L'pool and Tottenham will draw, they both have very tough away games

Probably the worst goal line decision I have ever seen QPR should be winning. The ball was two foot over the line

Bolton 1-0 up, half time now

QPR feel somewhat agrieved I suspect after that linesman miss

I wonder what will happen in the second half

That takes Bolton out of the bottom 3 and puts QPR really in it

Not a lot happening in the four matches being played currently

The only goal that's been scored in any of the matches so far as been scored by Blackburn.

Bit of a change now

Chelsea are winning 1-0 although its taken them until the 68 minute and Stoke had a man sent off in the 24th

Sundeland are 1-0 up against the pool

Balackburn are now 2-0 to the good

Good result for Sunderland, so much for Kenny's lions, they really are adrift from a top 4 finish, really!

Blackburns win combined with QPR's loss as helped put a little bit of space between them and the relegation places.

Not bad results, just need Spurs to get a win, big ask I think!

Spurs have not looked like scoring, they seem to have lost their rythmn. Not a good time to go on a losing run.

They could wind up outside the Champions league spots, that certainly would disrupt their attempts to attract good players.

Also the Modric thing could reappear
