A more sensible 24.4 C here on the South East Kent coast with a nice SW onshore breeze. I think I can live with that. [sn_appr]

Down herein Dorset I could feel the change of air mass yesterday, the wind switched southerly late afternoon and got very warm. It was preceded by a strange arc of high cloud, not sure how to describe it but it seemed like it marked the edge of the air mass. The cloud was very narrow, just a strip that could almost have been dawn with a paintbrush

Uncomfortably hot in Cambridge today, even by my old Jerusalem standards. Well over 32C when I last checked, wouldn't be suprised to see 34C somewhere. Upper level cloud looking interesting, although still virtually wall to wall sunshine. Hot winds too.
