Meanwhile in the Wembley area, someone is clearly having a barbecue next to their AWS:

32°C in my non-air conditioned office.
Uncomfortably hot in Cambridge today, even by my old Jerusalem standards. Well over 32C when I last checked, wouldn't be suprised to see 34C somewhere. Upper level cloud looking interesting, although still virtually wall to wall sunshine. Hot winds too.
33.1c here my highest of the year DP 16.9c
1500 temperatures:
35C finally in here and sitting in the shade which is unusually hot like in the Med.

Heathrow has got to 33.5c which is the hottest temp since 20th July 2006
What a boring day, no humidity, overcast skies and no beefy showers.......except Northern France
Anybody know what today's official maximum temp has been?

With convection remaining fairly innocuous in London for the time being, 35C feels within reach at the moment. It's certainly darn hot - to be slightly less scientific about it.

A hot and very humid 29c here!
Its like having a warm, damp heavy blanket on top of you!
They didnt say what time it was but I am assuming it was around 3.20pm dont think it would go any higher there as there are alot more clouds around.
