Another draw for Sunderland last night, fast becoming the draw specialists of the division but we really should have taken all three points last night. I agree with Bruce that we don't have enough alternative scorers in the side and that we rely on Bent too much, but it's his team and Cattermole, Henderson, The Egyptian and Steed have never been goalscoring midfielders so what does he expect. It took 30 minutes from them going to 10 men to him bringing Gyan on and why did he keep Welbeck out on the wing????

Was watchign Huddlestone yesterday in the CL... reminds me of a coloured version of the former Liverpool player Jan Molby. Certainly plays like him and has the waistline to match !!

Spurs 1 Everton 1 , a good point for Spurs considering they wouldnt have got back until the early hours of Thursday after a tough game in Milan.

I'd have taken a point before the game. However, Everton will be more pleased.

Poor referee and poor finishing from Crouch. This is the sort of game Spurs should have won - not least because I don't think Everton are a particularly good side - with or without Arteta.

Good to see Sandro getting another run out. The boy can certainly tackle and I look forward to seeing much more of him in the next few months.

Getting back to your earlier point, I think something needs to be done about the fixture list. I find it ludicrous that Arsenal, who played a home CL game on Tuesday night, aren't required to play until the following Sunday. And Utd, who played on Wednesday night, aren't required to play until the following Sunday either.

West Ham vs Newcastle. Truly awful, awful game. This sort of crap wouldn't even grace the Championship. West Ham were clueless, spineless, passionless and couldn't string two passes together for much of the game. In fact they were so awful they made Newcastle look like Barcelona. No mean feat that.

The dildo twins will not be happy. I reckon the undertaker has maybe three or four games left.

Have to say I agree, not complaining though. Arsenal get quite a decent break this time around, in saying that we have had some poor fixtures over the years after a CL game, something Spurs will have to get used to. Swings and roundabouts I'm afraid.

Meanwhile, according tothe Beeb there is the following:

''Sunderland midfielder Jordan Henderson tops Manchester United's wish-list while Michael Carrick and Park Ji-Sung could be offered to Tottenham in an attempt to land Bale. (News of the World)''

The statement started off so plausibly, before quickly degenerating. Carrick + Mr Park for Bale? Er I think not.

Ok...maybe we could tempt you with Anderson or Hargreaves..? Serioiusly if Bale maintains or surpasses  his current form his value will rocket. Tho i am not sure that leaving Spurs for another Prem club would be beneficial to the player.... Spurs play good attacking football Bale has a licsense to attak at will, this would not be the case at Man City or Chelsea managed by Italians who are nototiously defensive in the big games. Man U or Arsenal would suit Bale but neither team are in the postion to pay an over inflated price that goes along with a British player esp one from Spurs...

Ref bottles it in United game. What a depressingly familiar headline.

Second bookable offence for Chuckle Brother senior. But of course he can't be booked because he had already been booked. The more I look at it the more I think it should be a straight red.

Utterly ludicrous wasn't it. Meanwhile in the Old Firm game players were being booked for sneezing.

The ref also gave a free kick to them when it was a double penalty to Stoke!

Manchester United are truly making a meal of this game. They've definitely lost something, but Stoke are so limited it's unlikely to catch them out unless it's a set piece or something.
