Ice on puddles, first ice on the car psrked outside this winter.
West Dean, in a valley just north of Chichester in the Downs recorded zero C last night, -1 the night befora, but that's not unusual as it's a genuine frost hollow with cold air draining into the valley from the hills on either side.
FWIW, I don't consider Hurn a frost hollow as the topography is pretty flat with nowhere for the cold air to pond up. It's got very light dry sandy soil which cools rapidly in winter and heats rapidly in summer. (Yes, I live in Chichester but my sister lives in Hurn so I do know the area)
