Logging off for the night.

Good night and hope there is better news tomorrow.

If he is not mechanically ventilated by Thursday he is likely to pull through.

If he is ventilated much sooner than Thursday it looks bleak.

This is awful news. The government can trot out comforting words like 'precautionary' etc but this is very serious and grave news. I hope he pulls through but I honestly fear the worst now đŸ˜¥

I'm trying to psychologically prepare myself so it isn't such a shock if it does happen.
The PM though, it would be truly awful.

So, you want freedom of movement and closed borders?

At least you're consistent.

Nothing works without first shutting the borders - I have been bloody consistent with that message from the outset. If the borders are closed, you can relax internally.

Naturally, trade still continues, but that does not entail mass movement of people.

'if' Boris doesn't make this ( AND I really hope he does ) then I cant see any relaxation coming soon , this will hit home to ALL that we need social distancing for some time

I wonder if they'll give Boris that remdesivir drug they were talking about last week?

Terrible and very worrying news about Boris,it does not look good at all and im sure every decent person regardless of political persuasion hopes he pulls through. Everyone needs to take note of how serious this virus is.

My suspicion is that he is deterioating very rapidly and, although not currently on invasive ventilation, is expected to be in the coming hours and days.

I think I read a few weeks back that the Canadian PM had tested positive for the virus, but if so he seems to have pulled through as far as I can gather.

Our PM lies at death's door.
Over 5,000 of our countrymen dead.
This 'mess' all created by China.
Heard anything from them? Looked after themselves while the world buries and cremates its dead, tens of millions of jobs lost, economies lost for years, and they are buying up shares at a knock down price. They are opening up for business again and will mop up everything.

I had a dream last night about WW3 because the world revolted against China (and North Korea) who never put any of the wrongs right.
I am feeling very angry at the moment how that country has put the world in this position.

Hopefully it will be a wake up call for some of the idiots still thinking it's just a virus but I'm afraid there'll still be a minority looking to score petty political points over his misfortune, whatever the outcome.

Fingers (and everything else) crossed that he responds to the treatment. But i think it must be clear now that he is in no position to lead the government and won't be for some time.
