HadCET still not published for yesterday. Interestingly I have noticed this happens when there are dramatic changes in the data- perhaps understandably if further validation is required.
I am obviously thinking that 16.2 is still on the cards with high 20s maxes and 16 mins expected for a couple of days.

I have an Access database on the daily CET data which I update as soon as the new month's values are finalised. When I check my database against the daily data that the Met Office have there now, I can see that changes have been made by the Met Office after the monthly figures were published at the start of July

16 days in June have all had their mean CET updated by  +0.1C which is enough to alter the monthly average from 14.00 to 14.06  and be shown as 14.1 with anomaly of 0.00C (1961-90)

Looking at the rest of my database from 1772 and the current Met Office CET history,  I can see that every month has had the same sort of changes applied including all those between 1961 to 1990 but in the case of this range it was not enough to alter the average June figure for that base data but that may not be the case for other months in the 1961-90 range

If you go to the very foot of the CET page

https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/hadobs/hadcet/data/download.html

You can see that the CET history was updated on 11 July 2024 and there has been a new CET column added in the tables themselves

Well done Windy.  Looks like you’re on a winning streak!
I let optimism rule again and went way too high with 17.2c.  I was doing so well for the first three or four months too.

Finally found some to catch up on this and have realised a two-pronged error has occurred, first on my side then seemingly in my CET estimate listed for this month, unless I made a typo in the message I sent.

So here it is - I meant to predict just under 0.3°C below the 1991-2020 average, but somehow got my reference point wrong and went for a seriously chilly (for the time of year) 15.53°C, about 1.3°C below average. This I accept can't be reasonably overturned now, so I'll take that hit, but in the listed CET estimates it says an even lower 15.33°C.

In other words, as far as I'm aware, I was 0.2°C closer to the final CET. Alas, still much further out than I would have been had I been paying better attention to what I was doing. I honestly logged in today expecting to look back on a much needed great result for this month, only around 0.1°C out. Must admit, I'm pretty cross with myself right now. How did I not even realise that mid-15s is pretty low for July?
Ah well, all I can do is carry on and hope for some kind of astonishing recovery in the remaining months.
