Alan Davies showed what a genuinely decent chap he is by realising he had offended some people and donating a large sum to the charity. The spokeswoman for the charity then came out and said that they didn't want his money and that he could have it back

If I was Alan, I would use that money on taking all the journalists from The Sun out for a lavish all expenses paid party, bloody cheek

I understand Davies comments weren't particularly sensitive, but it's hardly the attack on the people who died at Hillsbourough that half of Liverpool are trying to make out it is.

I think my favourite and most fitting chant of the season has to be the 'never your fault, always the victims' one doing the rounds.

I've heard that they've stocked up on teddy bears and candles at motorway service stations across the country today - just in case someone dies within 10 miles of Liverpool.

Norwich put to the sword 1-6 by City

No pressure on Utd then as now that City are only 2 points  behind them  and + 8 goals as well.

A disgrace what has happened to my beloved Blackburn Rovers. An incompetent manager, who has more excuses than a philandering spouse, owners who have took a mid table Premiership club, and made us into a laughing stock, and to cap it all a media who thinks that all this is the fans fault.

And United get another dodgy penalty, according to the Beeb. Ashley Young is now beginning to outdive Suarez, if that's at all possible.

I bet SAF when asked hasn't seen it or a replay.

You should all see the Juan Mata "goal" if you can. Now Chelsea 2-0 up against Spurs. I don't know what it is with referees and assistants at the moment, but collectively they are in the middle of a right ol' shitstorm. One terrible decision after another!

Better to take the goal.

I do hope Villa can be sucked into the relegation pit after a pitiful and heartless display against the scum from salford.

In view of the number of posts there have been in this thread on Hillsborough, I'm going to open a dedicated thread on that subject in this forum as this thread is in danger of going way off topic. Please use the new thread for any further discussion on Hillsborough and how it is remembered.

REmarkable that Wigan were 2-0 up, I take it that they as they say caught Arsenal cold.

Whether they can hold on and win seems unlikely, however I would like them to stay up.

What a performance from Wigan this is, you wouldnt think they are near the relegation zone, they have been superb.

But can they hold on?
