ECM 216. The strat has landed !
Can anyone post the 850’s at this point;http://www.wetterzentrale.de/en/topkarten.php?map=1&model=ecm&var=1&run=12&time=216&lid=OP&h=0&mv=0&tr=24#mapref
Edit: thanks Steve you read my mind.
-12’s in the SE on T+216 lol.
ECM is much the same as this morning and I was surprised there weren't more posts then.

Similar synoptics but the 850s are about 6 or 7 degrees lower!

on a serious note, the gold always seems to stay at the end of the rainbow. Let’s see if ECM continues its pantomime ‘mild easterly’ from previous runs...

The way things are staring to look in the model output, Brexit may not be the only problem the government has to deal with!
Well the ECM 12Z has restored my faith in model watching. Perfect synoptics and even looks decent in the reliable time frame.
This is what the those of us who watch the Strat have been hoping for - we just need to count the days down to the middle of next week without things going pear shaped.
ECM at 240 is pure FI, but if that comes off, the south of England and most of France stand to get a proper snowfall with large accumulations as the southerly tracking lows start to fire up the Channel. Well, we can dream.
Yep, run of the winter for me Steve
Lovely stuff good consistency from the ECM .
In my opinion this ECM is best run I've seen this winter. Be interesting to see where it sits in the bigger picture.
oh babe I love her ecm the snow queen
