Even worse, there are plenty of people (mostly men) who don't wash their hands after taking a dump.

Indeed. Some of them are things everyone should be doing 365 days per year. Washing hands*, eating well and getting regular sleep are examples.

Always amazed me the number of senior journalists and columnists at the Telegraph who failed to wash their hands after jettisoning logs in Trap 2.

Evidence becoming stronger that this is no longer out of control exponential growth.

Of course we are not out of the woods yet even if this is true, we can get a secondary explosion in some other country if we are not careful.

This made me wonder whether my existing concerns about the hygiene of tablets may worse than I had imagined.

I have never considered smartphones and tablets to be serious potential fomites, but in an epidemic involving droplet infection of course they could be. Cough on the screen, pass screen to other player.... Oooer - who has been using this mouse? My wife and I have are sharing a horrible cold this week.....
