Updated website says now 55 deaths. From 35. What's that? About 60%?

Where did the 171 come from? I swear some data is missing.
Sorry to be a pedant about this.

I do know, now, I have a link, though, to a confirmed positive case through my GF (but it is like 5 degrees of separation). So it's probably just a coincidence and I also came down with a minor stomach bug or something.
Thanks, so I should be able to go out and about as long as I avoid close contact...
I have just cancelled our weekend break in the New Forest.

I think there is now a reasonable chance that by mid-April we'll be the worst affected country in the whole world.
The US could beat us though.

There is still the Wuhan like lockdown.
Official data now in they're still sticking to 171 new cases even though Scotland also reported 171
As of 9am on 16 March, a total of 44,105 have been tested: 42,562 negative. 1,543 positive. 55 patients who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have sadly died.
3,826 results to 9am today of which 171 were positive (6.5%)
20 new deaths to 55
Even the conservatives on twitter are scathing of this confused message
Mortality rate probably much lower. Originally Posted by: NickR

Currently seeing small business owners going into actually meltdown on various platforms I use. They are furious that the government have urged people to avoid premises to avoid insurance payouts.
I like going to the pub for the social contact rather than the alcohol
Its my only social contact apart from the internet
I don't have any family that I am close to
Please Boris, don't close them!
Idris Elba has tested positive for coronavirus and has NO symptoms so far.
This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing ππΎππΎ No panic. pic.twitter.com/Lg7HVMZglZ— Idris Elba (@idriselba) March 16, 2020

Missing? There is no accurate data. The Chief Medical Officer said as much. It could never be accurate with limited testing and no knowledge of asymptomatic numbers.
Sri Lanka, which has zero cases has gone into total lockdown and sealed the borders, stranding thousands of Barmy Army who went for the cricket! Nice extended holiday I suppose in a beautiful country

It's only a modelling study, but these numbers below would provide support for HMG's policy (intended or not)
It could still mean thousands or even tens of thousands of deaths though.
