In our case it is simply not practical to cook all of the order being delivered tomorrow and I expect we will stick some in the freezer and take the risk.    

This cold = good seems to be a dangerous misconception. In the oven at 100C the virus probably lasts seconds. Even at 60C the lifetime is probably minutes. Lifetime increases as temperature falls.

I mean there is nothing wrong with freezing for all the usual reasons.What I'm recommending is that any food you put in the freezer you keep well away from anything else you intend to eat raw after defrosting.

And if you want to be sure, all you have to do is cook anything you want to eat after it has defrosted.

The US is going to issue cheques to american citizens, in place of a tax break holiday. Potentially up to $1000 

We need QE for the people. Essentially instead of bailing out the banks it will be what should have been done in 2008. Over the next year to 18 months the government will pay most of our wages, either through tax cuts for business under the offer of continued wages or for the greater majority direct into their bank accounts. Most utilities will be nationalised. Small businesses will be protected in some way. A debt jubilee will have to occur either a complete write off or much more likely suspended mortgage oayments, credit cards and personal loans. We may see nationalised banks due the risk of most of them collapsing. 

With out the above we will see a greater financial collapse than 1929, things may never be the same again after this pandemic. In some ways we have to learn the hard way, and a very bad thing can create positive outcomes for the future.
