There was a big focus on business.

However, there was a real lack of detail around individuals.

A 3 month break on mortgages are welcome. However what about people who rent?

My mum partners now has to isolate for 12 weeks and will only get 12 weeks SSP.

There won't be a 250k outcome, that was the forecast with mitigation (herd immunity) only and without social distancing measures in the wider population.

Renters have been totally overlooked in these measures.

Surely they should have pumped additional resources in weeks ago as a vital tool in confronting this.

This government has been shambolic from the start, then changed its entire strategy just when the crisis was beginning to accelerate. I hope they're held to account once this has receded.

I still keep wondering how we'll get to the 250000 scenario or even close to it

Given the advice for over 70s to remain at home, I was surprised to see so many out shopping in supermarkets today.

EUROPEAN LEAGUES TO END DOMESTIC SEASON BY JUNE 30

European leagues have committed to ending all domestic season by June 30, according to a statement released by UEFA.

It is hoped that the current situation improves and resuming playing will be appropriate and prudent enough – finishing exactly a month after the original end date of May 30.

The latter is favoured providing our suppression methods are effective enough. I worry for the winter months; I hope we don't become complacent as a public when the first wave slows.

Fingers crossed it is not a big issue and does not delay a good working vaccine.
