14.2C last night to 31.1C today and Epsom weather station recorded 30.3C and 30.1C in Iver.

That now 13th day for seeing 30C here or over but unlikely to beat the record 15 times in July 2006 as we will get some cooler mid 20's temps tomorrow and remaining end of July.

July average max a very impressive 23.8C though that will probably ease down a touch by month end. Won't beat the 25.0C average max in July 2006 though, now that was a month to remember!

After 37.4mm fell from 3am to midday today, the sky has totally cleared and it's been up to 23.7°C - this is an incredible spell when even a non-descript day ends up with hours of clear blue sky and a very warm temperature.

Min of 16C to 27C today and felt quite cool after getting used to 30C days.  Forecasting for my area temps tomorrow to be around 25C, 23C on Tuesday with sunny spells and then rising temps with more hot sunshine to 28C on Wed, 33C Thursday and 35C by Friday with mid to high 20's by the weekend.

We might struggle to get over 25c tomorrow but after that the temps rise again.

Maxed at 26.1C and felt chilly this evening due to showers nearby that give cooler air around.

Managed to get out for an hour at lunchtime to escape the fridge-like air conditioning. Definite change in the airmass since this morning; it actually felt quite warm on the London streets with the sun out. Bodes well for a warm day tomorrow.

Aye, I noticed when I got home it was 22.3c - pretty close to average - despite today being overcast, wet and breezy .......  What does it take to get a cold summer's day?!!!!

I'm currently recording 19.7 C, even though it is still trying to brighten up. For a warm front, I is not that impressed.

But, of course, the real proof will be in the pudding tomorrow. Temperatures of 31 C over the South East is virtually nailed on, even my own location is plotted to reach 28 C or 29 C. Mm. We shall see but thanfully it'll only be a one day wonder anyway (as it's going to come with high humidity).

This morning was cooler still before the warm front arrived this afternoon hence it warmer and much more humid.

Dewpoints here have been above 12C for seemingly ages - the difference between humid and "fresher" here is the difference between 14C and 17C dewpoints, both of which feel pretty humid. I expect tomorrow will be no different - might nudge 18 or 19C, but I'd bet it settles around 17C once again.

When this humid, sultry ex-tropical gunk finally clears here it will feel quite nippy even if the temperatures are normal!
