The fakes are huge and you can hear them settling nicely.

First time I've seen real fakes
I missed all the snow at the weekend stuck in blackburn hospital with a bad condition till monday aft. I did get to see some fall of snow thru ward windows. I am now back home in Burnley thinking I had missed it all. had to go back to Blackburn Hospital early doors for cams and the place is still covered in snow. Then I get home to Burnley this evening, hey presto! snow falling in Burnley. Must admit tired and knackered ll stop up as long as is poss just to watch snow fall TIRED ZZZZ. hopefully a good covering for all
Big wet flakes falling now. Temp 1.8C falling, RH 60%
Yeah I meant flakes.
Light snow now with a nice light covering.
Net radar showing more snow to the south moving northwards.
Moderate snow now with bigger flakes.
Temp has fallen from 1.9c to 1.3c.
Temps reduced, now have some largish flakes, will need this to go on some time to settle on the wet ground.
The temp and dew point are both rising here to very marginal so unless evaporative cooling takes place later in any precip then I can only see it being rain or sleet instead of the earlier snow.
Looks to be a dud here in Birmingham. Most of the precip north east.
Radar shows a small intense area going over Banbury , turned ALL surfaces white
Aaand now back to rain,
Crazy how marginal this event is, changing by the minute.
Moderate snow falling. Trying to settle. Temp gone down in last 15 mins from 1.3C to 0.7C
