Doors starting to rattle and I can hear the wind in the trees outside so turned the telly up, I hate wind.

Very windy here, I can hear it roaring through the trees outside.
Hardly any rain yet, only 0.7mm on the gauge.
Just had a gust to 50mph here, with winds from the south and nothing but a field and valley in that direction so might be interesting to see what speeds I get in the next hour or 2.

well it is certainly windy here with top score so far 36mph - and of course lots of rain, but neither unusual this winter so far
still, wouldn't want to be up on Beachy Head right now though.
Relatively Calm, I would say, looking at the charts. This thing is going North, by all accounts.
Some hefty gusts here now and I can hear things banging and rattling outside. With all the warnings we've had about this storm you'd think people would tie things down. A restless night is on the cards methinks.
Sky TV Ariel is rattling about . Venting stack for central heating is knocking against roofing tiles. Another noisy night...

Not especially stormy here, just fairly windy. Both Liverpool & Manchester airports showing 29mph on XCWeather; sounds about right.
Edit: Capel Curig recorded 87mph gusts earlier, now 'eased' to gusts of 83mph
Rather concerned at the moment, especially given the marked increase in wind gusts in the past hour. Also, the formation of an obvious squall line is another issue and I suspect this could be a bit of an event as it rolls ESE across England in the next few hours.
WOW at that Squall line

After the initial squally conditions of earlier this evening, it's gone rather flat now, which doesn't displease me I admit.
Berry Head weather station has reported 80 mph but the squal line hasn't reached us yet.

Looks like the squall is passing through Birmingham now. Wet and windy but not exceptionally windy.
Looks like a couple of good squal lines running through Wales and England as we speak.
We had one here in Dublin earlier and it was like a power wash.
