3-0 down. In a perverse way I'm actually finding this quite funny. Quite the most one-sided game I've ever (and I mean ever) seen Tottenham play and still lose.

The true score should have been about 9-4 to us.

I'm going to place a bet on whether Defoe will actually fail to score this season. Must get in now though as I'm sure the odds are shortening.

Quite remarkable, 3-1 defeat and we beat them all over the park and by 25 shots to 8.  However I can't argue with the scoreline and will have to settle for a whinge about the offside goal and the penalty that wasn't awarded for a blatant foul by their keeper.  Could add a bit about the soft refereeing on one or two poor Blackpool fouls and too many clearances off the line to remember but lets just hope Blackpool don't squander these three points and that it helps keep them up for a much deserved second bash at the Premiership!

Edit: forgot that I jinxed BAE earlier tonight as he was at fault for the third which took the wind out of our sails!

At the end of the day it's the scoreline that counts and no whingeing from me will alter it. However, I've said it before and I'll say it again, 'Arry will rue the day he turned his nose up at Suarez. Our attack has the cutting edge of a souffle. We cannot continue to rely on VDV and Bale. To me it's utterly pointless having probably the best midfield in the EPL when he have such a popgun attack.

with Man U having 3 away games in the Prem back to back  Chelsea and Liverpool  being two of them , Wenger HAS to get 3 pts tonight and hope SAF's men fail to get 9 out of 9. A big night and a tough game for Arsenal against Stoke

Arsenal manage a home win against Stoke 1-0 which puts them just 1 point behind Man U having played a game more.

It'll be an interesting 9 days now as Arsenal have the Carling Cup Final, an FA Cup Replay, the Champion League 2nd leg against Barcelona, plus a Premiership home game against Sunderland, while Man U have 3 tricky away games in the Premiership against Wigan, Chelsea and Liverpool.......7 points from those games for Man U would probably see them through to the Premiership title.

Stoke are a crude but very effective team. I've always wondered why Delap is allowed to use a towel to dry the ball - I thought home teams had the option of banning such a 'device'.

Villa , Wolves and Man u have all scored 4 so far giving them excellent wins

Wigan are yet to get a point of Man U home or away, guess a win was always on the cards for SAF's men
